Bella AI ("Bella", "we", "us") provides an AI guidance engine that fitness and wellness businesses integrate into their own apps to offer their members personalised, medically vetted coaching for cycle syncing, pregnancy, and postnatal recovery. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
We handle three categories of data:
- Website visitors. If you contact us through this site, we collect the details you provide (name, work email, company, and your message) so we can respond.
- Business customers. When a club or app partners with us, we hold account, billing, and technical contact information, plus API usage data needed to operate and invoice the service.
- End users of partner apps.When members chat with Bella inside a partner's app, we process the conversation and the wellness context the partner shares (for example stage of life or cycle information) solely to generate guidance for that member.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to provide and secure the service, respond to enquiries, invoice partners, improve the reliability of our guidance, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use partner end-user conversations to advertise to those users.
4. Processing on behalf of our partners
For end-user data received through a partner integration, the partner is the data controller and Bella acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. Members should read the privacy policy of the app they use for details of that app's practices, and direct data requests there in the first instance — we will support our partners in fulfilling them.
5. Health-related data
Guidance about menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and postnatal recovery is sensitive. We only process this information to deliver the coaching a member has asked for inside a partner app, we apply strict access controls to it, and we never use it for advertising.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform (such as cloud hosting), under contracts that restrict their use of it, and where the law requires disclosure. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
7. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to staff who need it to operate the service. We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
